چکیده

Abstract Carbon ions, commonly referred to as particle therapy, have become increasingly popular in the last decade. Accurately predicting range of ions tissues is important for precise delivery doses heavy-ion radiotherapy. Range uncertainty currently largest contributor dose normal tissues, leading use safety margins treatment planning. One potential method direct relative stopping measurement (RSP) with ions. Heavy-ion CT (Hi′CT), a compact segmented full digital tomography detector using monolithic active pixel sensors, was designed and evaluated 430 MeV/u high-energy carbon ion pencil beam Geant4. The position individual track can be recorded reconstructed 30 μm × small pitch size. Two types customized image reconstruction algorithms were developed, their performances three different modules CATPHAN 600-series phantoms. RSP accuracy tracking algorithm materials CTP404 module less than 1%. In terms spatial resolution, could achieve 20% modulation transfer function normalization value CTP528 imaging results at 5 lp/cm, which significantly better that fast (3 lp/cm). density resolution obtained CTP515 approximately 10.5%. conclusion, Hi'CT system designed, its nominal performance simulation. quality provide feasibility scanning most parts an adult body or pediatric patient, particularly head neck tumor treatment.

Pixel-Based Skin Detection for Pornography Filtering

A robust skin detector is the primary need of many fields of computer vision, including face detection, gesture recognition, and pornography filtering. Less than 10 years ago, the first paper on automatic pornography filtering was published. Since then, different researchers claim different color spaces to be the best choice for skin detection in pornography filtering. Unfortunately, no com...

An Electrochemical Sensor Based on Novel Ion Imprinted Polymeric Nanoparticles for Selective Detection of Lead Ions

In this study, the novel surface ion-imprinted polymer (IIP) particles were prepared and applied as a electrode modifier in stripping voltammetric detection of lead(II) ion. A carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with IIP nanoparticles and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was used for accumulation of toxic lead ions. Various factors that govern on electrochemical signals including carbon...

Background Estimation Based on Device Pixel Structures for Silhouette Extraction

We propose a novel technique for background estimation on the tabletop systems that have an information display on the tabletop and observe tabletop objects with a camera. In such systems, the background of an image observed with the camera includes the image shown on the tabletop display. The background varies according to the information presented on the tabletop display. Although we can esti...

A Cellular Automaton Based Algorithm for Mobile Sensor Gathering

In this paper we proposed a Cellular Automaton based local algorithm to solve the autonomously sensor gathering problem in Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (MWSN). In this problem initially the connected mobile sensors deployed in the network and goal is gather all sensors into one location. The sensors decide to move only based on their local information. Cellular Automaton (CA) as dynamical sy...

A Computational Image Sensor with Adaptive Pixel-Based Integration Time

An image sensor is proposed in which the pixel adapts its integration time to motion and light. The integration time of each pixel is shortened if motion is detected in the pixel or pixel intensity becomes saturated. The adaptivity of motion and light significantly enhances temporal resolution and dynamic range of the sensor. Because the integration time differs pixel-by-pixel, a scene containi...
